Our Story
Over a decade ago, a small group of individuals, driven by love for Allah (swt) and devotion to the Ahlulbayt (as), found inspiration in Najafyia Foundation’s Arbaeen rice campaign. They set out to raise funds for it with a goal of just one container of rice. But what unfolded was far beyond their hopes, the generosity poured in, enough to sponsor three containers.
That moment became more than a milestone, it ignited a spark that would eventually grow into Akhyar, a movement to connect hearts in service. Where the love of Allah (swt) and the Ahlulbayt (as) could be translated into meaningful action for those most in need.
Akhyar Today
Akhyar is a DGR-registered charity in Australia (ABN 26661296939), run by the same dedicated hands behind Najafyia Foundation. United in our shared purpose, we walk the same path of Khayr, committed to serving humanity with sincerity and compassion.
Today, Akhyar’s reach spans 30 countries with over 150 passionate representatives and a seamless digital platform designed to make charitable giving more impactful and accessible than ever before.

To serve those in need with kindness and dignity through meaningful acts of charity. Guided by the teachings of the Ahlulbayt (as), we aim to fulfill our duty to Allah (swt), seek the pleasure of Imam al-Hujjah (atfs), and unite people under the shared cause of compassionate service.
Our Impact
What began as a humble initiative has now touched thousands of lives. Through our partnership with Najafyia, we’ve launched projects that have made a real difference: from sponsoring orphans in the holy cities, organizing Majalis and Niyaz, to facilitating Islamic obligations. Akhyar has become a trusted bridge between generosity and the vulnerable, growing in impact and reach everyday.
